Tag - Seas the day

Hi and welcome :0) Inspired by my last post I created a new Nr. 10 manila tag (ca 21,5 x 10 cm) for Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge "Fun with stencils". 

I like the idea with decorative edges so I found a waves die from my stash to complete this beach scene. I used Honey Bee waves stencil in the background with Tim Holtz Distress oxide colours - Tumbled glass, Mermaid lagoon and Uncharted mariner. For the beach I've chosen Distress ink pad Vintage photo. I coloured all the images with Ohuhu Water based markers. 

I like this playful scene and I really would like to be there too... :D

Tag - Happy Halloween

Hi and welcome back :0). This is a Nr. 10 manila tag for Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge "Spritz and Splatter". 

I found older Ranger big manila tags in my stash and I wanted to combine one of them with Alexandra Renke's awesome border film strip die. I've chosen 3 Tim Holtz Distress Mica sprays - yellow, green and violet to create my background and enhanced the colours with 3 similar  distress inks. Than I splattered some water droplets on it and dried them with a paper towel and a heating tool.  For my focal points I used only dies today - Tim Holt'z new Otis moon with bats and older cauldron, beautiful clover leaves and some grass. Some of them I cut out from the black velvet paper and used an offset technique for them. 

I think that Otis has a very happy surprise look :D
